Last Call for School Supply Kits for next year

Today is the deadline to order the School Supply kits for next year.   Please remember to order for your child’s upcoming grade.   You can order on the PTO Web Store until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, 4/25.   


Attention 4th Graders !

Don’t miss your chance to shine on Field Day!  Practices start next week for Maypole and Drumming Events!  Sign up by emailing: Cheryl Considine for Maypole “braceletsbycheryl AT  hotmail.com”   or Jean Bacom for Drumming  “lunamama6 AT gmail.com”   All are welcome,  but you must be willing to attend all practices & rehearsal.    Maypole practice will be before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Drumming practice will be during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Last call–don’t miss out on the fun!

 

2nd Grade Bike Safety Registration closes Sunday, 4/27

Please see important details on the PTO Web Store when you register .    We are in desperate need of volunteers for this event on both days!   Please consider helping us out–the more volunteers we have, the smoother the training runs.  Bike Safety is important and you’ll be glad to hear what Officer Czernik has to share.  Please go to Sign Up Genius to register.     

When: Tuesday, April 29th or Wednesday, April 30th
Time: Right after school until 4:30 p.m.
Place: Meet in the gym (bikes can be brought in the morning & left locked at the bike rack outside the gym)
Bring: Bike with Lock Set and Helmet


The D90 Green4Good Recycling Extravaganza is almost here!

Saturday, May 3rd  from 8 am to 1 pm, rain or shine

Drive through convenience in the River Forest United Methodist Church’s parking lot (Lake and Thatcher in RF).

  • Gather up stuff around your house that needs to be recycled (or disposed of properly) but you can’t put it in your bin  – CFL bulbs, scrap metal, batteries, tattered American flags, electronics, prescription medications (humans or pets – NO liquids, please), eyeglasses, etc.
