10/22 Lincoln Log

Lincoln Families,

Thanks so much for all the nice notes, gifts and messages in honor of Principal Appreciation Day last Friday. I especially loved reading all the notes from your kids. I feel extremely fortunate to work with your kids each day. I hope that I impact their lives as much as they impact and inspire mine!

I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. This weekend the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C. marked my fourteenth 26.2 mile journey! I really appreciate those of you who  sent inspiring text messages and emails and even signed up to track me. I’ll be out of school tomorrow but will return on Tuesday to share my experience with your kids!  Here is a photo from the race to share with your kids:

Our annual Fall Parties are less than two weeks away. Don’t forget to return the attached form indicating your preference for where your child will change into their costume for our Fall Parties on Tuesday, October 31. Feel free to either return this as an e-mail attachment to me or print it off and return.

If you’ve not yet signed up for a Parent Teacher Conference time, you may use this link to do so.

Finally, mark your calendar for Friday, November 10 @ 9:00 and our 2017 Veterans Day Assembly. Please encourage any family/friends who are veterans to attend. More information about Veterans Day will be sent home this Friday.

As always thanks for your continued support of Lincoln. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for your kids/family. Have a great week. CG
