Many thanks to Domino’s Pizza and our dedicated Fun Lunch Volunteers. Remind your kids what you ordered: 1 or 2 slices!
Eat bread and raise dough for the Lincoln PTO. Head over for an after school snack, dinner … or both. Enjoy a midweek family dinner or carry out with no dishes to clean. Bring this flyer to the Panera location at 7349 Lake Street in River Forest and Panera Bread will donate a percentage of sales to the Lincoln PTO.

VOLUNTEER! We need your help to make the book fair a success and you’ll get to shop before the crowds! Check sign up genius for a shift to fit your schedule.
We will also have staff member wish lists for those of you who may be looking for the perfect holiday gift to show your appreciation. Look for the Apples bulletin board outside the LLC. Each teacher will have an Apple and in it you will find books they have chosen with the table number where the book can be found. It’s a lovely way to add to their classroom collection or to pick a personal holiday gift!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCHOOL NURSE:
It looks like winter has arrived early this year! Please send your children to school dressed and prepared to play outside in the cold. Please have children dress for the weather. They need warm winter coats, scarves, gloves and hats. Grades 1-4 will also need snow pants and winter boots when it snows in order to be able to play in the snow.
Thank you!
Erin Reilly Godellas, R.N., B.S.N. School Nurse, Lincoln Elementary
As you gear up for Thanksgiving shopping, baking and entertaining, please save your box tops for Lincoln School! Box tops are each worth 10 cents and add up to hundreds of dollars for Lincoln each year. Just cut them off and send them to school with your child(ren). Starting next week each classroom will have a box top container. The classroom that brings in the most box tops between now and winter break will celebrate in the New Year with a pizza and cake party! Classroom winner will be announced in January. Box tops are on many food items, but they are also on Ziploc, Green Giant, Scott paper and Hanes products. Here is a complete listing of where to find them. http://www.boxtops4education.com/BoxTops/Participating-Products
