9/18 Lincoln Log – Coding/Yoga/Tennis/Girl Scouts

Lincoln Families,
Happy Sunday! It’s been the perfect weather weekend, so I’m hopeful you were able to enjoy the outdoors with your family. I had the honor of officiating my friends wedding this weekend, so we were very grateful to Mother Nature for the beautiful weather.
Don’t forget that Friday, September 23 is an 11:25 early release day for students. Please be sure your kids are aware of any adjustments to their normal dismissal routines. Our teachers will spend the afternoon engaged in some D90 School Improvement work, mostly focused on literacy professional development.
This week will also conclude our fall NWEA MAP testing as we wrap up any necessary make-ups. Additionally on Fridaymorning, the River Forest Police Department will be holding two (K-2 and 3-4) annual safety assemblies for our kids. We are always so grateful for our strong partnership with be RFPD and RFFD in our collective commitment to keep our kids safe.
Finally families of 4th graders, be on the look out for your child’s PARCC assessment scores that were mailed late last week. As you may recall, this assessment is administered in the Spring to 3rd-8th graders in D90. There is a letter that accompanies the mailing, but please let me know if you have any questions.
As always, thanks for all you do for our school and the Lincoln community. Please never hesitate to reach out if there is ever anything I can do to support your kids and family! Have a great week.

District 90 Student Directory

Families are requested to take a moment to verify their contact information in the electronic AtoZ Directory, which is District 90’s online student directory. The AtoZ Directory includes contact information of students’ classroom friends and teachers. Families can update their own information through a secure format that uses a simple password system.

The directory currently contains information that families provided during the online registration process. Verifying the directory data should not take more than 5 minutes. Data verification must be done from a desktop or laptop computer. Chrome or Firefox are the recommended browsers for accessing the directory. The AtoZ Directory can be accessed through theDistrict’s website on the Parent Resources tab or click here. Once on the AtoZ site, you can verify your information or register as a new family.

An important feature of the AtoZ Directory is that families can easily access the directory from cell phones, tablets, and computers by using the School Directory app.

The app is now available in the App Store and Google Play.

1. iPhones or iPads – Click here to find the school directory app in the App Store.

2. Android devices – click here to find the school directory app in Google Play.

3. Enter your username and password to verify your information or register as a first time user.

Voila! You’re in! If you have any problems with the software, you can email info@atozdirectories.com and they will be sure to respond quickly to your concerns.
