Our generous PTO is providing a FREE cheese pizza Fun Lunch for all students on the last day of school! We are testing a new “mega” slice, so it’s larger than the regular slice that kids are used to seeing. But there is a 1-slice limit, so please pack extra food for your extra-hungry children!
Many thanks to all our dedicated Fun Lunch Volunteers. We greatly appreciate you serving our students every week, all year long!
Please help welcome Mr. Godfrey to D90 and the River Forest Community.
Parents and 4th grade students, please join us for a continental breakfast and commemorative photo slide show to celebrate their years at Lincoln.
Students–please wear your 4th Grade Tshirts.
Parents– please RSVP to christysmithdesign AT yahoo.com
We apologize for the inconvenience, but due to limited space, this event is for 4th grade students and parents/guardians only.
The Green4Good Committee will be collecting used school supplies on the last day of school. The re-usable supplies will be donated to the Maywood Public Elementary School District. Broken Crayons will be donated to SCARCE and re-formed into crayons for children with disabilities; all other unusable supplies will be properly recycled. If you DO NOT want your child’s supplies donated, please email Laura Maychruk prior to June 5th. lmaychruk AT comcast.net.
Volunteers are still needed this Friday, 6/5, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to help collect, sort and package the supplies. You can sign up on Sign Up Genius or contact Laura Maychruk at lmaychruk AT comcast.net
THANK YOU!
Thank you to all the generous Lincoln School families who contributed to our Crossing Guard Appreciation gift. We surpassed last year’s numbers, and Kevin and Paulette will each be presented with a considerable Visa gift card this week. We truly appreciate everyone’s support in this endeavor!
Babies through children entering 5th grade who sign up and read will earn new books to take home and other great prizes. Enjoy daily programming for kids of all ages, and weekly story times for babies and toddlers.
The fun officially begins at the Summer Reading Kick Off Party on June 5th from 2:30 to 5:00 pm.
Skip the line! Between June 1-4, visit the library to pre-register for the summer reading program and receive tickets for the Kick Off Party. Visit the RFPL website for more information.

The PTO would like to thank all of our tireless supporters and volunteers for their efforts to make Lincoln School the special place that it is. We couldn’t accomplish all that we do without your generous contributions, both monetary, and as important, your hard work!
It was great to see so many of you at the Appreciation Party and at our very special Ice Cream Social last week. We truly appreciate your presence at these celebrations. Have a safe and wonderful summer, and we look forward to seeing you back at Lincoln in August.
