There is still time to participate in the Inclusiveness Advisory Board’s 2019 Inclusiveness Perception Survey. Please take about 5-7 minutes to share your experiences and perspectives about the degree to which District 90 fosters an environment of inclusion for students, staff, and families. The survey results will be exceptionally valuable as District 90 works to improve how we meet the needs of all stakeholders, particularly our students. The online survey is anonymous and confidential. To take the survey, please click on this link: Parent/Family Survey. The survey closes on May 20, 2019.

***The next Lincoln Log will be published on Monday, May 27***
A video will be shown at the 4th grade breakfast on the morning of the last day of school, June 12th. The video will contain pictures of the 4th graders through their years at Lincoln School. So grab a box of tissues and scroll through your old photos. Please begin to gather a variety of photos of your child commemorating all of their years at Lincoln, grades K through 4. We suggest photos from school events, school concerts, class parties, field trips, PTO events, back to school pictures, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, other clubs, youth sports teams, pictures with good Lincoln buddies, etc.
Photos can be submitted to a google drive via https://drive.google.com/
Feel free to contact Debby Bade and Krista Lambe at Lincoln4thgradeclass@gmail.
Mark your calendar for Lincoln School’s Annual Ice Cream Social and Yearbook Distribution! Families enjoy Brown Cow ice cream sundaes and students collect signatures in their beloved yearbooks from friends and teachers while the whole Lincoln community comes together to celebrate another amazing school year. This is truly a favorite end-of-the-year event not to be missed. The fun will take place on the Lincoln lawn on the Franklin side of the school. (In the event of inclement weather, we will gather in the gym). Sundaes are $3. See you there!
We are still looking for a few volunteers for this event – sign up here.
Wonder Readers will have its final meeting on Thursday, May 30, at 7:30am in Mrs. Mares classroom. Our last guest reader of the year will be there to share a favorite book.
Wonder Writers will have its final session on Friday, May 31, at 7:30am in the Multipurpose Room. Writers are invited to bring their parents as we share stories, poems, and works on nonfiction.
Lincoln Field Day will take place on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 12, starting at 11:00am. It’s a fun afternoon that kicks off with a family picnic on the Lincoln playground. Parents bring a blanket and a picnic lunch for their family. Although many parents attend, kids sit in class groups and will not feel left out if a parent cannot be there. Specific spots are mapped out for each classroom on the Franklin Lawn.
The Fourth Grade Maypole and Drumming presentation is immediately after lunch. Then it’s time for the games! Parents are welcome to stay and help run the games, or can collect their kids at the end of the school day. If you are available to volunteer, please check out sign up genius.
Here is the schedule:
Our school community started a wonderful tradition a few years ago. We collect for end-of-the-year monetary gifts for our hard-working and friendly crossing guards. Parents will be collecting before and after school the week of May 28th. There will also be a donation jar at the Ice Cream Social. Every donation is appreciated. We need a few volunteers to collect donations. Please check out the sign up genius. Thank you!

Registration for the 2019-20 school year is now open. In order to improve our online registration process, District 90 is now partnering with the Ecollect/Accela School Adaptive Data Management System. Ecollect is a data collection system that resides within PowerSchool, which is the District’s student information management system. All District 90 registration forms are now embedded within the Ecollect system and will be accessible to you via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once you open your PowerSchool Parent Portal, all of the required registration forms will be available on the left-hand navigation bar.
Don’t have a PowerSchool account? No problem! We have created two documents to help – these documents can be found on our website on our registration page, and they will also be sent to you in a separate email from the district.
