Save the Date for the Lincoln School Auction on May 1!

Save the date for the PTO’s Biggest Fundraising Event of the year and we need your help! We are off to a good start but we are still looking for more donations. If you have anything to donate or know of someone who may, please let us know! No item is too big and no item is too small. Auction ideas could be:

• vacation getaways

• overnight stays at hotels or resorts

• signed sports memorabilia

• tickets to professional sporting events

• tickets to music or theater events

• golf outings

• local gym memberships

• landscaping services

• summer camp and sports gift certificates

• private shopping experiences

• salon gift certificates

Attention Fourth Grade Parents!

Get your Slideshow Pics Submitted!

It’s almost time for your little eagle to fly over to middle school (sniff, sniff), but before that happens, let’s embarrass them!
During the 4th grade breakfast, we will watch a video montage of your child’s years at Lincoln. Please submit any school photos from Kindergarten-4th Grade so we can reminisce about the fun times at our wonderful elementary school.

Photos can be emailed to vmfreund@sbcglobal.net (.jpeg & 300dpi if possible)
I’m also happy to accept DVDs, flash drives, floppy discs, reel to reels- whatever it takes to get your little one’s face on the big screen.

Fourth Grade Activity Fees Due!

If you have not already, PLEASE go to the Lincoln PTO Webstore and pay your child’s 4th Grade Activity Fee. This fee goes toward the t-shirts that your 4th grader will wear during Field Day, the commemorative DVD of the kids’ time at Lincoln that all children receive, and the 4th Grade Breakfast on the last day of school.

These are exciting times for the 4th Graders so please keep reading the newsletters weekly for upcoming event info.

Also, the Maypole and Drumming takes place at Field Day – please ask your children what they would like to participate in this year. Sign ups will be out soon. Practices will start in late April and May.

Get your Limited Edition Tie Dye Lincoln T-Shirts Before It’s Too Late!

 Waste Free Wednesdays!

Each Wednesday through April 22nd we will be celebrating waste free lunches with a hand stamp, culminating in a Waste Free Challenge during Earth Week.  This is a fun way to participate in one of your child’s favorite activities!   We are looking for 2-3 volunteers every Wednesday from 11:15 – noon.  Please consider volunteering for a quick 45 minute time slot via SignUp Genius!  (scroll way to the bottom for G4G, thanks!)
