Family Science Night is this Friday,  3/14

6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Lincoln Gym

  COME TO YOUR SENSES! 

 Explore your senses and how that brain of yours processes all that incoming information…with and without your permission! All are welcome but this is geared towards the upper grades. THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF EVENT!

Tickets are $5 per child or $10 for each family with more than one child. Sign up on the Lincoln PTO Webstore or pay at the door.  Hope to see you there!

A heartfelt “thank you” to & from Heartworks

Our Fourth Grade Service Club, Heartworks was busy the last 2 weeks. They prepared Trader Joe bags, promoted the Food Drive, recorded, delivered, and sorted all the food that Lincoln families donated to the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.  Our generous families donated over 1500 items…what a wonderful effort by all.   Thank you, families,  for your generosity.  Thank you, Heartworks, for all your hard work for our community.

Last Chance to submit photos for the Lincoln Yearbook

We are busy compiling photos and completing pages in the yearbook.  The deadline to share photos is this Saturday, March 15th.  You can upload JPEG images directly to the publisher’s website: http://images.balfour.com/

Still need to order a Lincoln Yearbook?

Get your year’s worth of Lincoln memories all tied up in a hardbound edition, plus a cool pen for autographs!   Order now at the PTO Web Store for $25.   Please remember to save your receipt or save the “Thanks for Your Order” email from the PTO Web Store.  It’s an easy way to confirm you have a book to pick up at the Ice Cream Social at the end of May.

Waste Free Wednesdays are still happening!  Pack your kids a waste free lunch on Wednesdays, and your child will receive a hand stamp.  Want to see Lincoln in action during the lunch hour?  Volunteer to give out hand stamps on any given Wednesday from 11:25 to 12:25!  Training provided.  Sign up here.

Get Dinner Delivered and Donate to the Lincoln PTO!

It’s Wednesday, which means Puree’s will donate 10% of sales to the Lincoln PTO for take out and delivery orders, as long as you mention our school.  Please see the attached menu and take a break from cooking!  Puree’s Menu 

 River Forest Youth Soccer–THREE DAYS LEFT for low cost registration

Register now for Spring Soccer at www.rfys.org.  Grades K-4 play 5 v 5 games on Sunday afternoons beginning April 5th through June 8th.  No practices.  Just $65 until March 15 when late registration fees apply.  Questions?  You can call Bob Gorman at 630-618-1972.
