2/26 Lincoln Log

Lincoln Families,

I hope you had a great weekend. I enjoyed a great weekend in St. Louis and am very excited to attend my first ever Chicago Blackhawks vs. St. Louis Blues hockey game tonight at the United Center!

With Presidents Day last week, conferences this week and Pulaski Day the following our next full-week of school isn’t until the week of March 13!

Although it was short week, last week our teachers and kids were extremely busy. Our teachers engaged in some incredible Professional Development. In addition to our Institute Day that focused on equitable instructional opportunities for students, our staff always worked toward becoming Apple Certified Teachers. Additionally, on Wednesday and Thursday consultant’s from Teachers College of New York were here at Lincoln to facilitate and model components of Writing Workshop for our staff. Please reach out if you have any specific questions regarding our staff and trainings!

The Lincoln staff and I look forward to welcoming you to Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences this week on Thursday and Friday. It’s not to late to sign-up if you haven’t already done so!

As always, thank you for your continued support of our school. Please never hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can ever do to support your family. Have a great week. CG
