2/28 Lincoln Log

Lincoln Families,

Welcome to March! I hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather and sunshine this weekend. It sure was a welcome sight after such a brutal February!

Thank you so much for your participation in conferences last week. I hope you found your time with our teachers to be beneficial and productive as we prepare for the final trimester of the school year. Hours and hours of time are dedicated by our staff to compile report card data and prepare for conferences. So if you haven’t done so, please be sure to pass along some Lincoln Love to them. Send some Lincoln Love!

If you haven’t yet completed the 5Essentials Survey, please take a few moments to participate. The Illinois 5Essentials survey is designed to generate a comprehensive picture of the inner workings of our schools. Teachers, parents, and students will be able to share their insights and perceptions about our schools as we develop school improvement plans. Students in grades 4-8, teachers, and parents/guardians will be able to participate in this online and confidential survey that is based on 20 years of research at the University of Chicago. The survey will be open for participation until April 2, 2021.

Finally, prior to and upon return from any travel, please be sure to consult the updated Cook County  Travel/Quarantine Guidance, and contact Ms. Godellas or me if you have any questions. Thanks for your adherence to this guidance and for doing your part to keep our school community safe.
As always, please feel free to reach out if there is anything more I can do to help support your family. Thanks for your continued support of Lincoln.

Wishing you and your family a magnificent month of March!
