Lincoln Families,
As we prepare to gather with family and friends to give thanks later this week, I am reminded of the many reasons I have to be thankful. High atop that list is the Lincoln School family. I am grateful for your kids, our incredible teachers, and your overwhelming support in our efforts to continually enhance our school. This holiday I’m looking forward to some time in St. Louis. The Godfrey’s have much to be thankful for this year, so I look forward to being with my family later this week. Whether you’re traveling near, far, or just staying local, I hope your family embraces this opportunity to give thanks, reflect upon old memories, and create new ones.
Due to the holiday break, don’t forget school is only in session on Monday and Tuesday this week. Classes will resume on Monday, November 28.
Additionally, please note that there will be no Fun Lunch on Tuesday, November 22. The next Fun Lunch will be Friday, December 2.
As we look ahead to December, don’t forget to mark your calendar for our Winter Concerts scheduled for Friday, December 16. The concert schedule is as follows:
Also note the final day of classes prior to Winter Break is Friday, December 23.
It was great to see so many of you here last week supporting our annual book fair. Many thanks for Anne Powers and Theresa Dubois for all their volunteer efforts in making this year’s Book Fair such a success.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is ever anything I can do to support you or your family. Happy Thanksgiving! CG
