Happy Thanksgiving Lincoln Families,
I hope you had a nice weekend and are excited for the short week of school and upcoming holiday break.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for our annual Winter Concerts that will take place on Thursday, December 21:
As the Godfreys gather to give thanks later this week, please know that the Lincoln family will be high atop my list of blessings. Whether you are staying local or traveling afar, I hope you and your family have a safe and restful week. Enjoy the time with family and loved ones and the opportunity to be grateful for all we have!
Thanks for your continued support of Lincoln. I look forward to seeing you and your kids after the holiday! Happy Thanksgiving. CG

We walked another 30 miles this Wednesday bringing us up to 181 miles, the distance from River Forest to Springfield, Illinois! We are very close to getting Mr. Godfrey home to St. Louis for Thanksgiving dinner.
To achieve our goal, Walking Club will meet on Tuesday instead of Wednesday next week. This is the last walking club for the season. So show up and make it count!
Bring your siblings, parents, grandparents, neighbors. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate so we can collectively achieve our walking goal to St. Louis.
Tuesday (11/20) 8:00-8:15 on the Franklin side.
Take a look at the map outside the school office to stay see how far you’ve collectively walked. Let’s get Mr. Godfrey home in time for turkey dinner!

We will focus on LOCAL waste management and conservation efforts, learning through doing and meeting with local sustainability and conservation leaders. Our 3rd graders will BECOME sustainability and conservation LEADERS, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with the Lincoln School Community.
Registration is open on the Lincoln PTO Webstore. The club will be capped at 20 third graders, so register right away.
Lincoln’s Fourth Annual International Festival will take place on Sunday, February 24 from 1-4 pm. Are you from another country or do you have a special connection to another country? We would love to have you share this country with the students of Lincoln School! Students will travel through Lincoln on 2/24 and experience the wider world through crafts, dance, and other hands on activities. Help us make this day a success by sharing your passion for another country.
