The PTO’s Lincoln Links committee is looking for established families to partner with new families and give them the scoop about our special events, things they shouldn’t miss (like PTO Newsletters, winter concerts & school supply orders), and answer any questions they have throughout their first year. The goal is to pair families with students in the same grades…details are on Sign Up Genius. Please sign up here to give our new families a warm welcome! Contact Karen Goldberg at “kgoldberg AT strategex.com” for more information.

Being responsible means that we do the right thing even when no one is looking. We do the right thing just because it is right and not because we will get credit or praise for doing it. If you see your child making a choice that does not appear responsible (e.g. leaving garbage around, saying something irritating to a person, interrupting others, etc.), a good way to begin the discussion is, “What if everybody did that?” This discussion will help our child continue to develop the perspective-taking skills that we reinforce every day at Lincoln.
Please submit requests to “lincolnPTOcommunications AT gmail.com” by midnight on Monday for the weekly newsletter.
