11/11 Lincoln Log
I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend! It’s hard to believe this week is the only “full” week of school in November. It looks to be a busy one!
Many thanks for your attendance and participation in our Fall Conferences last week. Our Fine Fine School would not be what is is without your continued partnership.
As you know tomorrow morning is our annual Veterans Day assembly. I look forward seeing many of you and welcoming our veterans to Lincoln. The assembly begins at 9:00 so please plan to enter through the Park entrance beginning at 8:45.
It promises to be memorable morning!
Finally, many thanks to Anne Powers, Sarah Donoho and Julie Fleisch for all their organization and execution of the 2018 Lincoln School Book Fair. Like most events at Lincoln, the book fair is no small task. Many thanks to everyone for making this year’s book fair the most successful in recent memory.
Finally, as you begin to plan for the winter season, please don’t forget to save the date for our annual Winter Concerts scheduled for Friday, December 21.
I look forward to celebrating the Lincoln November birthdays at Principal Birthday Lunch on Thursday.
As always, thanks for your continued support of our Fine Fine School. Please never hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can do to better support your kids or your family. Have a great week. CG

Wednesday Walking Club
Thank you to those of who walked on this cold windy Wednesday. In fact we almost doubled our walking distance and walked 49 miles last week.. We are now half-way to getting Mr. Godfrey home for Thanksgiving!
To date, we have collectively walked 151 miles!
Our CHALLENGE is to get Mr. Godfrey go home to St. Louis for Thanksgiving dinner. Do you think we can collectively walk the distance before then? It’s an ambitious goal, but give it your best effort! Bring your siblings, parents, grandparents, teachers. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.
Wednesday’s 8:00-8:15 on the Franklin side.
Take a look at the map outside the school office to stay see how far you’ve collectively walked. Let’s get Mr. Godfrey home in time for turkey dinner!
